TECHNICAL SEED MARKETER NORTHERN CAPE
AgroFors, a leading forage and pasture seed company, is seeking a qualified, driven and relationship-focused Technical Seed Marketer to join our team in the Northern Cape region.
This role is suited to someone with strong technical knowledge, a passion for agriculture, and the ability to work closely with farmers, distributors and industry partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
» Successfully promote AgroFors products within the Northern Cape region.
» Drive regional sales growth and market development initiatives.
» Set sales budgets, monitor progress and ensure targets are met.
» Provide expert technical advice and support to farmers, clients and distributors.
» Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding client needs and offering tailored and practical solutions.
» Introduce new products to the market and communicate product information effectively.
» Organise farmers’ days and address study groups and training sessions.
» Assist with the planning and management of demonstration and marketing trials.
» Collaborate with distribution partners to strengthen relationships through training and information days.
» Stock management and related administration.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
» Relevant BSc Agric degree or equivalent agricultural qualification.
» Strong knowledge of pastures and forage crops.
» Experience in managing trials will be advantageous.
» Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively.
» Strong communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.
» Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
» Strong administrative and computer skills.» Honest, reliable and self-motivated.
» Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the region.
